BROADBAND UNTERMINATED CURRENT TRANSFORMER DATA
These transformers can provide an economical alternative to the broadband terminated transformers
where a frequency response significantly above 2MHz is not required

Notes
1. Resistor should be non-inductive and selected to carry secondary rms and pulse currents.
2. The sensitivity is determined from the relationship Output = Secondary resistor/ratio.   The ratio may be deduced from the resistor values and sensitivities in the data table.   Current ratio accuracy +/-0.5% at log mid frequency point. +/-2% within one decade of 3dB cut-off points
3. I-t capability may be improved up to 80% by applying a dc offset current equal to Isat. See “Characteristics” section
4. High frequency properties achieved when secondary resistor is connected to a 50R cable via a resistor designed to make the source resistor equal to 50R. A 50R terminating resistor is employed at the receiver.
5. Small quantity price

Other Models:

The table describes a small selection from the possible designs of unterminated broadband current transformers.   The range can be extended to cover: ID 5mm to 100mm; sensitivity to 5V/A; droop to <0.01%/ms; I-t to >20,000mA s; lf cut-off to <0.01Hz and hf cut-off to 5MHz.   Contact Lilco Ltd or complete the enquiry form for further information on this range.
